09.10.2013Technical PV Trainings at Intersolar India

Solar Energy International (SEI) is pleased to be partnering with Intersolar India to provide technical PV training at the largest exhibition and conference for the Indian solar industry. Solar Energy International is one of the oldest and largest training organizations in the United States and has over 30,000 alumni. SEI works extensively with NGOs, utilities, governments, and industry in the Middle East,  Africa, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. SEI will be offering a 3 hour technical training each day of Intersolar India. The trainings are designed for Engineers, System Designers, Developers, Project Managers, O&M Providers, Financiers, and Experienced Installers. These trainings, which can be taken as a series or individually, are taught by experienced ISPQ Certified PV instructors who are actively working in the solar industry and have a combined total of over 20 years of experience with grid-tied and battery-based residential, large commercial and utility PV systems.


Tuesday, November 12, 2013:  Considerations for Large-Scale Photovoltaic Systems: An in-depth presentation on design considerations for grid-connected photovoltaic systems, focusing on multi-megawatt ground-mounted arrays.


Wednesday, November 13, 2013: Quality Assurance and Operations and Maintenance (O&M): Instruction in preventative maintenance strategies, programs, and procedures , along with information on remote data analysis and tools and techniques for troubleshooting. 


Thursday, November 14, 2013:  Advanced Battery-based Solar Electric System Design & Maintenance: Training on battery-based PV system design, including sizing systems and selecting components for off-grid and micro-grid  applications.
